You should really ask the DMV (or whatever it's called) where you live this question; times can vary widely from state to state.
you should be able to get a replacement title by contacting the state. Often you can sign a state form that transfers title. Check with YOUR state to see the local laws.
This depends entirely on where you live. Some places "Print" a replacement Title within a few minutes. Some places take up to a month to mail one out.
It take about 2 weeks to get the title of the car
Apply for a replacement or duplicate. You can apply for a replacement, but the title will most likely be sent to the lien holder. If that happens, you need to call the lien holder to let them know that it will be coming and to let you know when they get it. If it is sent to you, then you will need to take it to the lien holder and have them sign off on it again.
Haven't see the AR title after submitted for 4 months already. Who know how long it takes.
You should be able to obtain a reliable abstract of title within two weeks.

Hello, It depends on what you are asking, and where you are located. Are you waiting for a replacement/duplicate title to be sent to you from the DMV? Or are you waiting for a bank/credit union/lender to send you your title? If you are waiting on the DMV, that is going to vary by state, but here in Wisconsin it can take up to 6 weeks. However, there are DMV Service Centers you can go to for an immediate replacement or duplicate title, but you will normally have to pay an additional fee for this service ($5 in Wisconsin.) If you are waiting for a bank, credit union, or other lein holder/lender, you will need to contact them to see what their individual policies are, and verify whether or not the title has already been sent out to you. Good luck!
A title transfer can be done in less than an hour if you are OUTSIDE of Cook County. Sorry...
