That depends on which part of England you're starting out from. It costs at least $54.00 for a one-way ticket from London - St. Pancras to Paris - Gare du Nord and that price can rise based on the particular timing of the train trip and which class on the train you choose to ride in (first class, second class, etc.).
how much cost to get from Paris to Switzerland by train.
I've just booked some tickets that cost CHF 97 per person each way. You can get cheaper if you book farther in advance and avoid peak times.
Check the SNCF or SBB websites for specific fares.
The Eurostar journey from London to Paris takes about 2.5 hours. If it is price that you want to know about, this can vary according to time of day and time of year so it's best to check their website.
Since you didn't specify when you wanted to travel, I searched using an outward date of 7th Feb 2012, and returning on the 10th. The cheapest non-flexible fare is
Leaving at 09:17 - £49.50
Returning at 09:13 - £64.40
Which is a total of £114.00 for the return journey.
See the related link to the Eurostar website for more details - including other journey times.
It depends on a lot of factors, such as: how far in advance you book, what time of day you're going, what day you're going, which class you want. I assume if you're asking this question, you want to know the cheapest possible way. I booked 3 months in advance and chose one of the cheapest fares possible by going in the later afternoon, and it was $67 US, or about 42 pounds, one way. I don't think you can get it much cheaper than that.
Like so many fares these days, it depends. On any given day a return ticket can vary from £69 to £350. The price depends on the demand for that day, how far in advance you book and various other commercial factors. The cheapest fares can be found, but you need to be flexible on your dates, and when you find a good price you must grab it, because if you come back tomorrow it will have changed.
The Eurostar goes to London, not Madrid. There are plans for a high-speed (TGV) line, but these are still under consideration.
It depends entirely on what train you take. It can be anywhere from 110 euros to more than twice that.
