It depends where you are trying to go in South Jordan, South Jordan covers a large land area. However just from the IHC Primary Children's Hospital in Riverton to the closest South Jordan border would take only a minute or two, depending on the traffic and the lights (it is only 1 mile). To get to the farthest area in South Jordan on 9400 south and 1300 west, it would take about 15 minutes to drive (it's about 8 miles).

The hospital is located on 12600 south, and the Riverton/South Jordan border is on 11800 South, so if you drive north from the hospital, before you hit the next major intersection (a large shopping center called The District) you will be in South Jordan.
