The Central Park Zoo is in Central Park. Central Park is in New York City. So...the estimated travel time is zero hours, zero minutes, and zero seconds.
It's not a big zoo. It would probably take you like, 3, maybe 4 hours to see all the exhibits.
Because they were in areas where dense jungle and many rivers had to be crossed to get to the central parts. -This was not just a walk in the park.
I drove it in a day. Went through the Cascades.
How long it takes you to get there
Take the M5 bus from Church St/Vesey Station until you reach the park.
its about a 45 minute drive unless its sonowing then the drive can be slow through the pass...
It is about one thousand to fifteen hundred kilometers, depending on which route you take through central Europe. You have to cross the English Channel to reach the alps, and it is a long journey.
a long time
as long as it takes

According to the measurements I got from Google Maps, it is about a 4.6 mile walk from the southwest corner of Central Park to the World Trade Center (Ground Zero). Central Park is a little less than one mile wide, and two and a half miles long, so, depending on where in the park you are starting out from, the walk may be a mile or more longer. In other words, it's a fairly long walk.
