About 1 to 1.5 hour, if you have the proper tools and skill. It's a fairly easy DIY procedure. It's one of those kind of jobs that the first time you do it may take a couple/three hours, then if/when you do it again 1 hour or so. To remove and replace about 2 to 2.5 hours, including the time consumed removing the negative battery cable which must be done first.

You must take off the 'splash covers' on the drivers side under the transaxle and starter is between the engine and the bell housing for the transmission.
