do you mean if you sync it to there wii.if you do mean that re sync it to your wii.
On the wii remote sync screen press 1and 2 simultaneously to use it as a guest remote. If you'd rather it was synced to the wii instead of the WiiU, you can resync it using the sync buttons. You can always resync a remote to either console if you want.
