Honestly, it's magic. When you make a voodoo doll correctly, it'll work. I made a Sally Stitch doll and I works. My jaw is currently bleeding so, don't try this.
During your upkeep you put a pin counter on Voodoo Doll. If Voodoo Doll is untapped at the end of your turn it deal damage to it's controller equeal to the number of counters. You can pay double the amount of counters on Voodoo Doll, and tap Voodoo Doll to deal damage to target creature or player. Lets take the scenario that it is the beginning of your turn and there are currently 3 pin counters on Voodoo Doll. During your upkeep put a pin counter on Voodoo Doll (4 counters) At any time during your turn (when you can play an instant effect) you can pay 8 mana, tap Voodoo Doll and deal 4 damage to a target creature or player. If Voodoo Doll remains untapped at the end of your turn, you will take 4 damage and Voodoo Doll will be destroyed. You do not have to use the Voodoo Doll's ability, all you need is for Voodoo Doll to be tapped at the end of your turn. You could tap it with a fast effect, or use a spell to turn it into a creature and attack. There are a vast assortment of ways to prevent Voodoo Doll from dealing you damage. Personally i would suggest that you get a better 6 drop card. :) Good Luck (may you never be mana screwed)
yes voodoo dolls are real but they will only work if you belive in it . if your making a voodoo doll and your focussing on "willl it work????no i dont think it will or this wont work ill proove it" then it will not work so if you belive youll get revenge
Voodoo Dolls were not considered part of Voodoo practice. It was introduced as a souvenir for tourists. It is also commonly seen related to Gris-Gris. In order for its magic to work it must be in close proximity to the person it is meant to be used on.
Voodoo works if you have faith that it does.
Using a voodoo doll will have desired results as long as you truly believe in it, and perform the methods properly.
Because they have faith in them. Something will only work as long as you believe it does, and put the proper energy into it.
That depends all on your intent and the amount of focus you are putting into the conjure. However, it would work the best if you actually make and stitch a doll for your intended purpose instead of just drawing one on paper.
I think they only work on 3am and 12am
Quite simply, the don't work, except in fantasy stories.
Voodoo is a mix of African Beliefs and Catholicism; often with nature and folk magick 'root-work' mixed in as well.
I think definitely. Not in a sense that as soon as you pinch the doll, it pinches the person, but it does have a negative impact on their lives, if it is a proper woodoo doll. ---- Voodoo dolls are rarely used for negative purposes. Voodoo dolls will work if you have faith in them and put the proper energy into them to direct it toward your intended purpose.
