It's possible to last 4 or more days. However, I would suggest eating it in two or less and preferably same day as purchase. Smell the shrimp for a strong "fishy" or ammonia type odor. Also, it should have a "rubbery" type feel. If it's slimy in any fashion I suggest throwing it out. Avoiding shellfish poisoning is well worth the loss of the shrimp and their cost. Use your judgment and olfactory senses to make your decision.
More detailed research indicates that cooked shrimp stored in the refrigerator should be eaten within 1-2 days. Considering that thawed shrimp was pre-cooked when purchased - and you do not know the exact conditions that the frozen shrimp was shipped and/or stored - it's wise to discard after 2 days.Thawed cooked shrimp should be used within a few days - the earlier, the better.
How long it will last will depend upon how good it was when frozen and how it was thawed. If it was thawed at room temperature, it should be cooked immediately. If it wasn't fresh when frozen, it should be cooked immediately. If it was very fresh when frozen and was thawed in the fridge, then you should have at least a couple days to cook it.
Normally, frozen vegetables are not thawed first but are cooked from frozen.
Sure... but it will more then likely be over cooked. Shrimp does not take long to cook. Your shrimps texture may be a little tough. But YES, you can fry pre-cooked shrimp.
Cooked shrimp can be left out at room temperature for no more than two hours. After the two hours has passed, you either need to refrigerate the shrimp or throw it away. Shrimp left out on ice will last much longer.
Until its cooked....
Yes it can
If shrimp is not cooked, it will be a grey color. If uncooked, cook until shrimp turns pink, plus one minute. If shrimp is pre-cooked, cook until it has been heated through.
No more than 24 hours in it's raw condition. After it has been cooked, it can last a week.
1 week
Thawed chicken should be cooked within 1 to 2 days.
I hope these shrimp are dead. You can keep them in an airtight container raw for about 3 days. After they are cooked they can last about 5 days.
