The Dell Latitude was released in 2003. The battery life for this laptop is between four and five hours. However, over time, the battery life for any laptop will shorten as the battery and the product age. A Latitude in use for the past decade would have a much shorter battery life than four hours.
On average, a Dell Latitude D620 battery will last for approximately three to five years. Most batteries for laptops generally last between three to five years.
The 12 amp hour battery will last longer under the same load as a 10 amp hour battery. For example if you had a load drawing 2 amps, the 12 Ahr battery would last 6 hours and the 10 Ahr would last 5 hours under ideal conditions.
This depends on the working conditions.
Amp hours is a battery rating. It means that this battery can sustain 1 amp for 8 hours up to 8 amps for 1 hour. Depending on what the current draw is on the load will determine the length of time the battery will last.

it lasts as long as a dell latitude e6250 battery lasts
On average, a Dell Latitude D620 battery will last for approximately three to five years. Most batteries for laptops generally last between three to five years.
A dell inspiron 700m battery should last for a few years. Most of the time, they die because of hardware problems or spilling. But if they are maintained they will last for a long time.
Wh means Watt-Hour. It indicates how long your battery will last. The higher the Wh, the longer your battery will last.
The Thinkpad T420 is one of the longest lasting laptops in terms of battery life. Sony Vaio S or Z can have an extended battery sheet (adding almost no thickness) that will make your laptop have ridiculously long battery life.
The battery life on a Dell Inspiron 6400, 9 cell battery can last anything from 3h30mins to 5h30mins. The mainly depends on how the power saving mode has been set, when you reduce the computer's performance you save battery life.
Dell mini has several generations. It's a great notebook to bring it on a trip with you. It has a battery that can last for about eight hours. The screen on the Dell mini is 10 inches.
1. Plug the AC power adapter in a wall outlet. 2. Connect the AC Power adaptor supplied with charger to the DC in jack. 3. "Status" indicator shows RED when the charger is ready and "Charger" indicator shows flashing Green when waiting for battery pack. 4. Slide battery pack in the charger and "Charger" indicator goes RED when charging. 5. "Charger" indicator show RED and GREEN alternatively when battery pack has more than 90% charged. 6.When the battery pack is fully charged, the "Charger" indicator shows a steady green. 7. After the battery pack fully charged, slide the battery pack out. 8. Unplug DC power, "CHARGE" and "STATUS" indicators go out. It could also be that the battery has problems and doesn't work correctly you should see also if the battery is put on correctly and if it is from the some company as the old one... it couldn't be the laptop because the problem started when you bought the new battery. ------------------ Dell has a chip in its AC adapter checked by a chip in the laptop. The wiring is poor and there are lots of reports of this failing (uses the pin in the center of the plug). Dell bios will slow down the CPU if it "sees" a non-Dell adapter - mine changes from 1600mhz to 600mhz and it will NOT charge the battery. Many people (including me) blame the battery and buy new ones, many, including me, have bought replacement DELL ac adapters and not fixed the problem. The chip in the laptop can get damaged easily and claim all adapters are non-dell. The fix? Dell says buy a new motherboard. All because they built in this bogus circuit and bios code to force people to buy their adapters. Did I say I use a non-Dell adapter? Nope, mine is real and my battery is dead.. It's my last Dell - ever. (there are programs to bypass the bios to put the CPU speed back where it is supposed to be - I have not found anything to make my laptop charge the battery. There are companies which sell separate battery chargers to charge outside the laptop. Maybe they are owned by Dell, too? HA!
Laptop battery life depends on a variety of factors. Typcially Dell has higher rated batteries.
no my inspiron 1525 only has the one primary battery which would last only for about 4 hrs, but i have just upgraded to a 9 cell one so it last much longer now.
pie Well, I too almost bought a Dell btp 83m,FY20,pc ab7110 battery! But what you want to do, you decide yourself. Some people buy an extra battery just because it will act as a backup for them when the primary ones runs out of juice. A typical battery lasts about 2 hours before it goes down. I have a feeling that if you buy the battery separately from DELL, the price is dearer? Did you check that one out? I think it's in the accessories section of their website. A nine cell battery is a good choice because my colleague bought DELL's six cell battery and her battery goes flat very quickly. It also depends on what you do in the time the laptop is being used, the power saver options on my laptop determines how long it keeps going. Maybe there can help you:http://www.bestebuy.co.uk/laptop-battery/dell/pid-1148.htmlSo what do you do then? The lifetime of a battery is about 5 years or so.
Micheal Dell of course he named it dell ... its his last name!!!!!
