You just need to leave the museum and come back with a space in your party. You can just go out the door and back in, without waiting.
Almost any fossil can be received from the worker after the old amber, you just happened to get that first. He will give away a random fossil every day except for the new bird and turtle fossil Pokemon.
Worker's Museum - Copenhagen - was created in 1986.
In the Twist Mountain Entrance (I think) There is a Worker there saying that you can have one of his fossil's. The fossil he gives you is random so it may take a few days.Note's: You can only get one fossil a day. You can do this after you beat Ghetsis.
After the hall of fame, you can go to Nacrene city at the Nacrene City Museum and Lenora will let you choose between a cover fossil which becomes Tirtouga, or the plume fossil which becomes Archen. Also after the hall of fame, go to twist mountain lower level 1 and talk to a worker and he will give you one of these fossils per day: helix fossil(Omanyte), dome fossil(Kabuto), Old amber(Aerodactyl), root fossil(Lileep), claw fossil(Anorith), skull fossil(Cranidos), or armor fossil(Shieldon). To revive the fossils talk to the receptionist on the east side of the entrance to the Nacrene City Museum and she will revive them all at Lv. 25.
You can get an Areodactyl by digging in pokemon platinum, diamond, platinum and any other pokemon game if you have explorer kit or by trade. But in pokemon black and white you have to finish the game and go to the mountain next to Iccirus City and talk to the worker and then you'd get a fossil. Tip: Areodatyl is in the Old Amber fossil! Hope my answers helped!
a good start for looking is to go to oreburgh (or something like that) city and start there, there is a higher chance of getting fossils.no fossils are found underground when you dig them up then take them to oreburgh city to the musuem and the man at the desk will change it into a pokemonTo put it in better words, you must use the Explorer's Kit to go underground and excavate bumps in the wall for fossils. You can pretty much have an infinite amount of fossils from all generations (except 2 of course). You then put those fossils in your bag and go to Oreburgh City's museum north of the city and talk to the blue haired scientist. Talk to him, choose the fossil, go out of the museum (like he says), go right back in, and there's your Pokémon.BE SURE TO HAVE SOME SPACE IN YOUR POKÉMON INVENTORY!Under ground using the explorer kit.
You must first go to the desert resort, this can be done when you have beaten the third gym leader and your rival again. (just go up the desert route path and take the left road) that should get you to a gate to the desert resort you must head to the upper part of the resort untill you see egg shaped interactable objects in front of stairs. go down them, there are some trainers down there but beat them and walk, DONT RUN to the hiker next to the worker on the left hand side ( i say dont run because you need to cross the sand and running makes you fall in) she will babble on and give you the option of two fossils take the plume fossil and bring it to Nacrene City museum the lady on the right will ressurect it into archen for you.
There are no fossils in Twist Mountain. You have to go to the Relic Castle, west of nimbasa. In there will be a trainer who will give you a Cover or Plume fossil (your choice). the Cover fossil will get you Tirtouga, Plume fossil gets you Archon. BlossomTail - Actually, there ARE Fossils in Twist mountain. You talk to a worker there, and he will give you a different fossil each day, after you've received your national pokedex. The fossils are from the other regions and can only be obtained here. When he's given out all his fossils, you cannot return for more.
you can get fossils by using rocksmash in the ruins of alph u get old amber in both hg and ss but u only get helix in HG and dome in SS this will be confermed by a guy from the museum in pewter city. 8-)
