How long for AA degree?

Answer 1: An "Associate of Arts" (AA) degree, at most regionally-accredited colleges and universities in the United States, consists of sixty (60) semester credit hours (or 90 "quarter credits," depending on which system the school is using). If one attends classes "full-time," then an AA degree takes two (2) years to complete.

After that, one simply transfers one's AA into a bachelors (BA or BS) program, and said AA counts as the first two (freshman and sophomore) years of said BA/BS, so that the AA degree holder need only complete the BA/BS's junior and senior years, and, voila!, s/he has himself/herself both an associates, and a bachelors degree!

Pretty slick, eh?
