There are currently 4 "Legoland" parks, with another two or three in the works. Which one did you mean?
Also, the question is essentially meaningless, since (for example) the soon-to-open Florida location was already an amusement park before being purchased by the Merlin Group to re-theme as "Legoland Florida". The park was bought near the beginning of 2010 and is scheduled to open in October 2011, if that helps.
The original Billund, Denmark location took about two years from groundbreaking to opening day, but the park on opening day was considerably smaller than its present size.
