For many centuries water mills were used to grind corn, but obviously not to produce electricity. That has been done since about 1880, ie as long as electricity has been known about.
Millenia, The Romans used water wheels to operate pumping mechanisms for aqueducts, and the Chinese used water systems to irrigate fields.
Dating back to 6,000 years ago. Not quite sure what year but there you go.
we have been applying scientific principle wrong way to harness only minimum hydropower. we are installing turbines using the principle of standing still water column. we can install many turbines in series along a single water supplying pipe without breaking the pipe and water column- thus harness unlimited hydropower. Earth is blessed with unlimited hydropower. For full scientific explanation please visit: devbahadurdongol.blogspot.com
I do not think anyone knows, but there has always been slavery in every race of their own people from when people were able to gain power over others
From natural sources of wells and rivers. Ireland gets a lot of rain, so sourcing water has never been a major problem. The quality of that water would not have been as good in the 1700s, without modern methods of cleaning it.
Using water as a source of power has been practiced for a very long time. The original applications for water as a power source was in mills. In the 1889s people began to experiment with existing concepts to power lights using water instead of coal.
power that is generatedby using river water
Quite a while actually. BUT IM NOT SURE HOW LONG!!
The first person on earth was the first person to drink water. People have always been drinking water. Because people need water to survive there were no people before they started drinking water.
people have been using it forever
As long as people have been using words.
The waterwheel and the turbine have been very useful in harnessing the power of moving water.
people have been using space porbes since 1958
Yes people have been sued for using Bittorrents.
The electric power has been turned off, for the time being.
Hydroelectric power requires a powerful, but controlled, flow of water. That automatically means a dam on a large river. Pretty much everywhere in my country (USA) that that can be done, it already has been done. But many people live nowhere near a dam or a large river. They must get their electricity other ways.
