Cooking time for 2.35lbs will be 47 minutes at that rate.
It depends on size of roast and cooking method. In a standard oven the average is 20 minutes per pound at 325 degrees. In a slow cooker (crock pot), the average is 9-11 hours on low setting depending on size of roast.
An 11 pound turkey should be cooked for about 3 hours. The turkey can roast in the oven at 325 degrees.
I use the rule of 11 min per lb, it seems to work best for me. Jim
11 minutes at 60 mph
11-13 minutes per pound if unstuffed. A 13 lb turkey should take approximately 2 1/2 hrs
the best way to cook a standing rib roast is to pre-heat the oven to 500 degrees. Place the seasoned roast in the oven. After one hour turn heat off. DO NOT OPEN door. (Advise everyone else to leave the oven alone as well!!!!) After 1 hour 45 minutes remove roast and check the temperature, using a standard meat thermometer. The roast should be between 140 and 160 degrees depending on doneness desired. If you think the meat is too rare, then heat oven to 300 and roast another 10- 20 minutes until the meat is the desired level of doneness. Remember let the roast sit before carving. The roast continues to cook while sitting.
At 350 degrees F, you should roast a whole (thawed)chicken for 20 minutes per pound, plus 15 more minutes. If stuffed, cook the chicken for an additional 15 minutes. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F when it is done. So you would cook your 11 lb. chicken at 350 degrees F for about 3 hours, checking during the last 45 minutes every 15 minutes for doneness.
