Depends on his/her physical condition. Speed is affected by your physical condition, not your age. An eight year old can easily out run an adult in a two minute race in different circumstances.
How fast your five year old can run varies depending on their diet and their normal rate of running. If your child is overweight, he or she might be a little slower or take more time runnning. If your child is skinny or the right weight, it would still vary. To figure this out, have he or she run on a treadmill.
