A molly is normally pregnant for about 4 weeks maybe a little longer. If you own a molly that is pregnant DO NOT put her in a breeding net too soon or she will die from the stress or abort her pregnancy a good idea of when to put her in the breeding net is when she looks really big and it has been about four weeks. By the way after she is done having her babies ( it may take an hour for her to get her whole batch out so be patient) take the mother out A.S.A.P or she WILL eat her young. You can release the babies into the community tank when they are about double the size they originally were when they were first born. Good luck!

Yes. If they are left in with the male for too long he will eventually eat them.
If your talking about how long the gestation period (how long it takes from one birth to the next) then it's about 4-6 weeks.
