Since I have been hunting (1985), the season has been 16.5 days long. It starts at noon on one of the first Fridays in November and continues through Sunday two weeks later. Not entirely sure what determines the Friday on which the season starts thou. Sometimes it is earlier and sometimes it encompasses Thanksgiving. I heard once that it is the Friday before Veteran's Day but I am not sure if that is true.
Bow season generally runs from mid-September until late January. There are two separate muzzleloader seasons, one a weekend hunt in late October, the other a week long hunt in mid-December. Modern Gun season is usually a two to three week hunt, depending on the zone that you reside in, in November. There are various youth hunts throughout the season as well. The exact dates change from year to year, so the best thing to do to get the dates and regulations for the seasons is to check the KY Department of Fish and Wildlife website. Happy Hunting!
