The Universe is estimated to be 156 billion light-years across, and it is 13.7 billion years old. As a start, this makes the rate of the expansion of the Universe 11.38686131 recurring times the speed of light. While this seems impossible, there is a simple explanation behind the rate of expansion. Instead of particles moving outward (which is actually a paradox since "outward" cannot exist beyond the scale of our universe since our universe is all-encompassing), the space between particles inflates as if air was being blown into a balloon. While particles may far exceed the speed of light in reference to one another, they are actually able to comply with the cosmic speed limit.

A the Universe is expanding rapidly, this is certainly now out of date. To help get closer, it is expanding at an estimated rate of 2,133,159.5 miles per second.

Warning Earthling's, the information requested is restricted material of the planet warriors from Zaarkt (Don't even attempt to speak it in your puny tongue.)

That material is classified and any attempt in disclosing it, will result in a punishment worse than death (if one could ever exist). Your eye balls will be removed and boiled in burning tar and as for your lower parts - Wiki will not disclose.

Be warned, any attempt to usurped the Zaarkt community will result in foreclosure - of your wilful and worthless life - not forgetting your lower extremities.

Attention: Thanks to a split in the time continuum, the Balack, have posted this information.

See related link [How big is the Universe] from this, using normal powers of the feeble Earth tribe it should be possible to calculate.

Be warned - use this information wisely - we do this at great risk to ourselves, good hunting Earthling.

How do cycles affect the universe?

No. Universe A expands from a 'Big Bang' stops expanding, and contracts until there is a 'Big Crunch'. Then there is a new big bang and the beginning of Universe B, a middle, and another big crunch, a big bang with Universe C and so on. At the time of any 'big crunch', all matter and energy from that universe ceases to exist. It cannot manifest itself until after the next 'big bang', and then has no relation to anything in its previous manifestation.

What is a result of the big bang?

The big bang began the expansion of spacetime with great rapidity. The Universe began with the Big Bang. In other words both space and time began at the big bang. The big bang started the Universe from the point t=0.
