Certain countries require that there be a minimum time left on your passport before you can enter the country (eg 3 years to expiry) As these are generally countries ther require a visa to enter, the information should be given to you by the travel agent or particular embassy. But I don't think you can travel if your passport will expire before your return date unless you're an EU Citizen within an EU state because then there are ways to get a new one from home.
You will have to return before the day that your passport expires.
You don't need a passport to travel between the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
It must at least have three months left.
Usually at least six months but it may differ by country.
You need a minimum of 6 months from your date of return
Three months.
You can travel up until the year it expires.
I can not say for sure since I have not been there before but for most country's that I have been to it is 6 months.
Once your passport is valid and it will not expire during the whole duration of your stay, then there is no problem.
just as long as it is valid it doesnt matter
There is no minimum validity requirement. Portugal is in the EU. All EU citizens (including UK) can travel to Portugal up to the last day on their passport. Different rules apply to citizens of non-EU countries.
Yes, and it must have at least 6 months validity left.
You must inform the embassy to where you want to travel , and they will give you a duplicate passport.
