If they aren't just SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY bathe away from the stitches then take VERY LITTLE soap and lather up the skin and fur around the wound. When done hand wash the soap VERY CAREFULLY, this could take awhile but you don't want the stitches opening or getting infected
