I would wait in the Vet's office about 10 minutes to make sure there is not going to be an anaphlatic reaction to the vaccine, which is when you get some swelling (which is rare to happen). Then after that period of time, go for your walk. Sometimes the dog will be a bit tired acting for the next 12 hours but won't hurt to take him or her for a walk.
