You don't drive through Missouri when you are driving from Dallas to Memphis. You drive through Arkansas. What you do is you take I-30 EAST to I-40 EAST to MEMPHIS via I-440 EAST to bypass of downtown Little Rock. (EXIT 138A off I-30 to get onto I-440 EAST, then EXIT 11 off I-440 to get onto I-40 EAST towards MEMPHIS). Then you just take I-40 EAST to Memphis. Oh, and you will be driving through Texarkana, TX/Texarkana, AR, but, aside from Little Rock, there are not that many cities or towns of importance along the route.
