The amount of time to wait before waxing a car after a paint job will vary. This will depend on the type of paint job and the wait period can be between 30 days to 4 months.
My own experience is that the peeling is the clearcoat layer of paint. Once it starts, there really isn't much to do beside a re-paint job. Waxing over it in the meantime provides some modest cosmetic improvement, but it won't last long.
I can't wait
A month or so...
Before waxing eyebrows at home, a few steps for preparation should be taken. A person should first buy a waxing kit, make sure that the eyebrow hair length is at least 1/4" long, decide on the eyebrow shape, trim the eyebrows if necessary, and cleanse the eyebrow area.
a day to make sure
It should tell you on the can as every paint is different.

It is a great idea, if you want to protect the paint and make it look new. Years ago, they put a clear coat over paint to help protect it, but this only lasts so long before it begins to deteriorate or show signs of wear. At least once, but ideally at least twice a year, get a simple polish or wax to protect the paint/clear coat. For your average car, it takes about an hour to do. Good Luck!
about 1 to 2 years
However long it says on the can, but it also depends on what paint, the weather and presciely what you mean by "wet" - does that include sticky? do you mean how long before it can receive another coat? do you mean decorating or artist oil paint? etc etc
A few hours.
