marinade is used only before meat is cooked. A marinade is used to breakdown tissue fibers and add flavor. After meat is cooked the structure of the tissue is changed and the seasoning only sits on the surface of the meat. A simple marinade is any Italian salad dressing, pour over chicken, allow to sit for a few hours in fridge and grill. The vinegar tenderizes the meat and the herbs make good flavor.
How long can i leasve thawed chicken in marinade in refrigerator
Marinate it! If I have a lot of time to get it ready, I will put the uncooked chicken in a plastic bag with a store bought marinade or make my own. Sometimes, I only use Italian dressing but the chicken turns out great. I let it sit in the fridge for a couple of hours (or overnight) and then bake, grill or saut. Also, be sure not to cut into the chicken while it's cooking as this lets out a lot of the juices.
as long as you like as long as you keep it in the fridge, i do mine for 2 to 3 days, but a minimum of 30 mins

I would not let it sit that long, not over about 30 minutes because of the chicken broth and usually eggs that are in dressing. I would mix it and keep it in the fridge until time to bake.
You can keep BBQ chicken in the fridge for about 1-3 ddays
Answer:Marinate mushrooms in a French, Italian or Greek Salad Dressing, the kind you buy ready mixed. Do not wash them, just clean the mushrooms with a paper towel. Pack into sterilised jar and pour over the dressing. Will keep in fridge for up to 3 weeks.
it depends on when the expiraation date is
If you want it to fully soak in I recommend at least 24 hours. I have an additional technique I sometimes use. Where I'll marinade for 24 hours in the fridge, then freeze the meat without the marinade. Then make a fresh batch of marinade. Take the steak out of the freezer and put into the new marinade as it thaws for 48 hours.
Nope. Its not a homogenous mixture. Homogenous mixtures are uniform throughout, and the parts do not separate from each other. Have you ever looked at Italian dressing (which has vinega and oil in it) after you let it sit in your fridge for any length of time? You can see the oil separate from the rest of the dressing.
Raw chicken can stay fresh in a fridge up to 2 days. The chicken has to stay in the fridge and then immediately cooked.
