You can apply for your marriage license at the Watauga County Register of Deeds office in Boone, NC. The office issues marriage licenses Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm and no appointment is necessary. Once the license has been issued, there is no waiting period before you can have the ceremony. However, the ceremony must be held within 60 days.
