The guinea pig can start eating solid food at 2 days old.
Sometimes they start eating him - otherwise no effect other than loneliness if he was the only other guinea pig
Both male and Female guinea pigs sometimes eat their droppings. the reason is that their poop contains minerals that are helpful to the guinea pig.
Yes. But It's best to know that they will most likely not get along at first. To fix that you will have to keep them in the same cage for about 2 weeks (It will give them time to show who is dominant). But otherwise, yes, guinea pigs do get lonely and should always have a friend. WARNING: NEVER GET YOUR GUINEA PIG A FRIEND AND THEN GIVE IT AWAY, THE GUINEA PIG WILL GET LONELY AND START BEING DEPRESSED AND MAY STOP EATING.
They will start eating more fish.
guinea pigs have an incredibly fast metabolism and will die without eating within 72 hours. please don't starve your pigs.
Well, They will start eating alot more and drinking and when they are about to give birth they will make this really LOUD noise!
they only suckle for 1 hour and then start eating normal dry guinea pig food but i would leave them in with there mum for 1 week before separating them just in case
2 or 3 weeks
You should wait until the mother wont suckle them anymore. aka start eating normal food
Well,my guinea pig-Bennie-LOVES to play tug-of-war. All you have to do is let him start eating something and then start pulling it a little. BE SURE YOU ARE GENTLE SO HE DOESN"T GET HURT! Bennie just gets this look of enjoyment on his cute little face. Hope this helps!
guinea pigs love being in there cages but they also love playing too! You can take them out more then once a week. When they start making noises, put 'em back! they love having fun though!
