The Jellyfish would over populate and their would be more risj in the oceans and less fish causing a ripple affect to the ocean
There is little known about the leatherback sea turtle in comparison to the amounts to studies made on other species of sea turtles. As far as I can tell there isn't a real defense mechanism that the Leatherback use to defend themselves but they are extremely fast swimmers once in the water which could allow them to escape some of it's predators also keep in mind that due to it's large size not many animals would venture out to catch a leatherback sea turtle with the exeption of sharks. Shark bites by far is the most common attack recorded on leatherbacks by other animal.
Leatherback turtles are generally not hunted for food, because they have too high of a fat content in their meat. However, they are sometimes caught in fishing nets (what is why it is best to by line-caught fish). They are also threatened by pollution. They sometimes consume trash in the ocean, thinking that it is food. This can lead to malabsorption due to an intestinal blockage, and eventually the animal starves. Chemical pollutants also affect them (Phthalates, chemicals added to plastics, are found in high levels in leatherback turtle eggs).
In Zoo Story 2, an equivalent to the Gila monster would be the Leatherback Turtle or the Komodo Dragon. These animals are also exotic and unique, known for their distinct appearances and characteristics.
