long time compare to earth
they would travel in a space shuttle
The space shuttle is not capable of leaving low earth orbit, a rocket like what the Apollo missions used (although much bigger) would be required.
the shuttle does not go to the moon.
3 years if you are going at 17 km/sec
The ISS and shuttle programs were designed as a stepping stone to interplanetary travel. The programs test the ability of humans to endure long periods of exposure to living in space and conduct experiments on long term affects of space travel. Space travel to other planets would be best initiated outside the earths atmosphere and the Space Shuttle, as the name implies is the vehicle designed to transcend earth's atmosphere with equipment, supplies and astronauts.

In space, they don't. If they are in a space shuttle, however, they would move themselves using handlebars attached to the shuttle designed specifically for propelling themselves.

Assuming that the maximum speed of a Space Shuttle is 17,500 miles per hour, it would take about 24 days.

About an hour and a half.

All the Space Shuttles are the same size, but if your asking for the biggest rocket, that would be the Saturn V (five) that took America to the moon and was the base for skylab.
8.31 minutes @ the speed of light.
