Many years. Probably the whole journey would be so difficult to arrange that it will never be done.
This is just not true, NASA has been working on our manned Mars landing for years, and in 2020 when we return to the moon it will be to test the Rover we'll be using - mostly testing how Martian dust will affect the machine, inside and out. Martian dust devils are a mile high and wide, impossible to control, I guess the closest we have to it here is volcanic ash - can't be pushed, swept, only blurred. Also solar radiation is another obstacle we've been working on, and successfully. The Rover will carry 4 astronauts and (possibly) a robonaut.
Starting now (mid-2009), something like 15 years before the first launch. Starting from the moment of launch, something like seven months before arriving at Mars.
two years
Yes, although modifying or "terraforming" it would take about a thousand years with current technology.
If you could take plants to Mars without them dying, it would help making Mars a planet that can support an ecosystem. Plants produce Oxygen which is crucial for animal survival (this includes humans, too, because technically humans are a type of animal). If Mars could successfully support an ecosystem, we could colonize it, which would help resolve issues with overpopulation.
A question that cannot possibly be answered. How long will it take to walk all of Earth? You can go for years (decades) and still have not been everywhere. Walking on Mars would definitely take even more time as the movements there will be much slower. Present Mars exploration scenarios (for a visit by humans) provide for a stay of a couple of days only.
You wouldn't be able to make it to Mars on a jet in the first place.
i would take an astranant to mars
it would take at least 197.456 hours to get to mars from earth
if there is water if it is at the right temperature how long it would take us to get their how much fuel we would need in a rocket to get to mars are their any aliens or harmful animal their is their enough oxygen etc.

Humans have never lived on Mars and if we will it will take a while before we are advanced enough to do it.
It would take 24 hours and 37 minuets for mars to rotate once. It would take 687 days for mars to rotate around the sun. -Rachel Hagara
It would take nine months.
