You can't drive from the US to England unless you have some VERY good windshield wipers. There is an ocean separating the two.
Second answer
You could theoretically drive up to Canada, across to Alaska, then wait to see if the Bering Strait freezes solid enough in the winter for you to drive over to Russia. If so, you could cross Siberia into Europe and, when you finally get to France, find the Chunnel and drive under the English Channel to England. I'd hate to even guess how long that might take, since you'd definitely be off-road for part of it. Theoretically possible, but I personally wouldn't try it.
A trip to South Carolina to Miami, FL would be 600-700 miles and be about 10-11 drive time hours. Hope this helps!
