England is IN Europe.
The Vikings.
That will depend on the type of boat. Large ships can do it in a day or less, whereas smaller boats would take several days.
The same time as it took immigrants to arrive from Europe...they all came by ships.
about 5 to 7 days
The Long Ships was created in 1945.
Jupiters size was estimated long before space ships.
Vikings travelled in long ships and raided Britain. They also raided just about every other coastal area of Europe. They settled in Britain, and governed large areas of the island. They also traded as merchants along the rivers that were navigable by their ships.
Quite long...
Most Romans walked or were carried in a litter. However for long distances they had carriages and wagons and ships. A messenger or a military officer would travel by horseback. Most Romans walked or were carried in a litter. However for long distances they had carriages and wagons and ships. In the days of the sailing ships, the fastest ones (called Clippers) would make the trip from Liverpool to Australia in 90 days. Regular sailing ships would take around 10 - 20 days more for the trip. After the advent of the steam ships in the late 19th century, the duration became equal to Clipper speed, also because most ships continued to go around Africa. It was only in the early 20th century that steam ships regularly started to use the Suez Canal for the trip, cutting the duration to around 80 days.
.2 light seconds... but then again.... not everyone has access to a spaceship with lightspeed
