Forever because the "Pegasus galaxy" is a fictional galaxy in some sci-fi Stargate story. However, it's location is based on a real galaxy called Pegasus Dwarf Irregular Galaxy or Peg DIG, which you can reach in a mere 3 million years as soon as you learn to travel at the speed of light. The distance between Earth and Saturn varies depending on where the two planets are in their orbits around the sun. So the time it takes to travel to Saturn from Earth depends on the distance between the two planets at the time of launch. It also depends on the speed of the spacecraft and the path chosen. Below is a list of launch and arrival times between Earth and Saturn for some past missions. MISSION LAUNCHEDSATURN

It would take about 175,000 years.Even with the technology now!But if technology was to advance it might be around 1,000 years. And for it to advance even more, it would still be a few hundred years!depends on what galaxy. Science proves there is over 2 million of them and counting! But the closest one would take about ,yeah, 200,000 years.

It would be impossible for one human to survive long enough to visit another galaxy, as it takes light hundreds of thousands of years to the nearest galaxy. Therefore, to answer your question, about 700,000 years to the nearest galaxy at the speed of light.

NOTE: Galaxies are spreading apart at about 5 billion miles per hour, which could cause a problem.

Well, let's see . . .

If the first hominids on earth had climbed into a space ship the moment they first

dropped out of the trees and stood erect, and had left earth immediately, at the

speed of light, on a direct straight-line course to the nearest galaxy outside our

own, they wouldn't have arrived there yet.

And if, on the eve of Jesus' birth, they had radioed back to earth to let us know that

they were bored out of their gourds but still doing OK, their radio signal would not

have arrived here yet.

So my guess is that it'll be another good while before human people from earth

physically reach another galaxy.

It would take 20,000 or 30,000 years (at the speed of light) to get to the outer border of our galaxy.
