If I were able to travel at the speed of light, I would arrive at Rigel instantaneously, from my point of view. It would seem longer to you as an observer on earth. Rigel is estimated to be between 700 and 900 light years from earth, so between 700 and 900 years would elapse on earth before my instantaneous arrive there.

Betelgeuse is at a distance of 640 light years while Rigel is at a distance of 860 light years. So the minimum distance if they were exactly lined up is 220 light years.

In addition they appear about 15 degrees apart in the sky from where we are, so the distance between them can be calculated by the cosine rule because the three points Earth, Betelgeuse, Rigel form a triangle:

d-squared is 640 squared + 860 squared minus 2 x 640 x 860 x cos (15 degrees) and that comes out at d equal to 293 light years.
