Dorothy's famous and fabulous ruby red slippers were stolen in March 2014 from a display case at a Staten Island Hotel in New York. The theft was caught on tape and the culprits were arrested and charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief. The penalties have not yet been imposed.
However, note that criminal penalties are not decided before a trial and sentencing.
It depends upon the laws in the country in which you commit the crime.
A year.
It depends you could just go to jail.
Few months
well more or less... you're done son...
The jail time for stealing an iPod touch would depend on the specific circumstances of the crime, such as the value of the item stolen, any prior criminal record, and the laws of the jurisdiction where the crime occurred. In general, penalties for theft can range from a few months to several years in jail.
Embezzlement of that sized amount sounds like a felony crime. That would mean, at the very least, one year in the state penitientiary, and probably more.
This depends on how much money was stolen and where the crime was committed (which country or state)
you would be in jail for about 3-4 weeks if you bully
James Earl Ray was caught stealing $120 in an armed robbery of a St. Louis Kroger store.
Of course it is. If you go shopping with your parents and you steal something, your parents will have to call the police and take you to jail Or your parents will show you the sign that said, "FREE RIDE IN THE POLICE CAR IF YOU SHOPLIFT FROM THIS STORE." You have to obey that rule! If you don't, you go to Jail for it depends on how long you will stay in jail!
Probably time served, a fine and probation depending on your age and the state in which you legally reside.
