It depends only on how close the frog's noise is to your ears. The more away, the softer the sound of the frog will be. There is the 1/r law if you measure the sound pressure with distance r. Scroll down to related links and look for more on decreasing of sound pressure with distance.
The loudest amphibian on the planet is the common coqui (Eleutherodactylus coqui) native to Puerto Rico but as an invasive species spread (unintentionally) by human actions, it can be found in Hawaii and throughout much of the south and south-west parts of North America.
The males produce advertisement calls to attract females, and the coqui (despite their relatively small size, from 1.5-3 inches) can produce calls measured at over 100dB a meter away (that's the equivalent to a chainsaw or industrial sized lawnmower..)
The calls are a two part phrase "co-qui!" - which is of course the reason for their common name. Interestingly the "co" component is actually an aggressive call to warn off other rival males, but the "qui!" is to attract females.
the creature that makes the loudest noise is the sperm whale. This whale makes such a
loud noise that us humans can not hear it.It was hard to find this out because they spend so much time in the depths of the ocean.
131 decibles is extremely loud. The noise from the loudest sporting events is about 131 decibles.
