I have a 96 with the same engin and I have gotten 28 mpg higway when I was moving 2 months ago. It has been getting about 21 with about 40% being city driving lately. But all cars and drivers get different gas mileage, I had a friend who couldn't get over 19 mpg out of her 92 rodeo and it had the same 2.6 engin.
