A huge number. Doses of vitamin D are usually measured in mcg (micrograms), not mg (milligrams).
You would have to take eight hundred thousand 5000 IU tablets of vitamin D to be one hundred thousand MG. That's 800,000 5000 iu tablets of vitamin D = 100,000 mg.
Even if you mean micrograms (mcg) it would require eight hundred (800) 5000 iu tablets of vitamin D to be 100,000 mcg. 800 5000 iu tablets of vitamin D = 100,000 mcg.
My doctor told me to take one tablet weekly .
Assuming you mean 500mg not 5000 - you would need two tablets for a 1 gram dose.
5000 UI for an adult.
Vitamin C comes in pills with strength of 5000 mg. how many pills would you want a dosage of one gram?
A milligram is 1/1000th of a gram. 5 kilograms is 5000 grams Therefore there are 1,000 x 5000 = 5,000,000 one milligram tablets in 5 kilograms.
Take one capsule Vitamin D3 5000 IU on a daily basis.
2 TABLETS
1 daily
5mg/30mcg = 5000mcg/30mcg = 5000/30 = 166.66...
You cannot get an even number of pills when using 750 mg tablets in substitute of a 5000 mg tablet. You could make 6 tablets using the 750 mg but would leave 500 mg remaining which you could not make using a 750 mg tablet.
Answer #1700mcg or 2300IU of vitamin AHOWEVER, it is very easy to overdose on vitamin A supplements, that's why I recommend beta carotene supplements; your body converts only the amount of beta carotene it needs into vitamin A, preventing an overdose. 5000-10,000IU of beta carotene is fine.
5000 IU (Men) 4000 IU (Women). Do take too much. Excess vitamin A is stored in the body, and too much can make a person ill.
Forty (40) 500mcg tablets are required to equal 20mg
