A cinderblock is 8" by 16" if you include the mortar joints.You'll need to figure out how many square inches the cinder block is (8 X 16)and how many square inches the wall is. (1 square foot equals 12" x 12")Divide the size of the blocks into the size of the wall and that's how many blocks you'll need.You'll also need to start doing your own homework.Getting people to do it for you on-line is the same as cheating.
970 pounds EACH? I'm not buying it; the blocks would weigh 202 pounds per cubic foot and the concrete a block this big is made from only weighs 150 pounds per cubic foot. But set that aside. This isn't a question you can get a real answer to, because I need to know how the wall is shaped. If you're building a straight wall, you'll need to build supporting structures because if you just throw a wall 30 feet high up it'll fall over in the slightest wind. If you're building a wall that encloses an area, the wall would be self-supporting. Let's first calculate the number of blocks in one course. Multiply the length by 12 to get the inches, then divide by 32...or 1500. Next is the height. The same formula gives us 22.5 blocks. Unless you plan to saw 750 blocks in half, the height will be 33 blocks or 30 feet 8 inches. The total will be 49,500 blocks. And the weight is 48,015,000 pounds - not counting the mortar. That's 1200 truckloads.
Turn the feet into inches then divide by 8 for the height and 16 for the lenth. EXAMPLE - 24ft long times 12 inches = 288 in. divided by 16 = 18 block long. 8ft high times 12 inches = 96 in. divided by 8 = 12 block high. The typical cinder or concrete block in the US is 15-5/8 long x 7-5/8 tall, with a mortor joint of 3/8 in. its measures 16 in. x 8 in. Dont forget your interior walls where bearing is needed. With wood beams these are needed every 16ft. With metal, the sky is the limit, although the steel beams must be built per size. Also there are many different size thicknees, the typical is 8 in. so the block will be a 8x8x16 in block. They also comes in 4 in. in this case the block is a 4x8x16. 12 inches is a foot but keep in mind that 16 inches is a linear foot.
The answer will depend on the size of the concrete block!
That's sort of a strange question. A concrete slab is a horizontal surface -- it's meant to be a surface you stand on or build things on. Concrete blocks are usually used for vertical surfaces -- walls. I believe that poured concrete walls are more expensive than concrete block walls. You wouldn't use concrete blocks as a substitute for a concrete slab.
most houses are made from re-inforced concrete and terracotta hollow blocks sometimes concrete

More info needed. There are so many sizes of concrete blocks. Different industries use different sizes. 6 x 2 x 10 is just ONE size.
6ftx12in=72 dev. 8in tall block=9 , 8ft x12in.=96dev . 16in long =6 ,6x9=54 blocks
No,in both cases same amount of money is spented,bcoz concrete also uses brick to build
All depends how high you want to build the walls. You'll have to decide that before you start.
They used concrete.
you can build blocks build houses
How are you planning on making the pool water tight? If you want to use a Vinyl Liner, you should consult the dealer you are planning on ordering the liner from. A lot of Vinyl Liner manufactures will not make a liner for that pool.
The blocks are made of limestone.
