What if Germany had won the Battle of the Bulge?
There really wasn't much of a possibility of that, but if it had happened, Allied forces would have counter-attacked after a brief re-grouping and planning phase. Allied forces would never have allowed Germany to control Europe. Edit; The German tanks and troops would have been bombed out of existence within a few days. In fine weather the Allied air-power was phenomenal by 1945 and the German, almost non-existent.

You have to be more specific. I don't know the total number of Tiger Tanks destroyed but if you look at the German's records, they list many of them destroyed or abandoned by their own men. This was probably due to the fact that the tanks used so much gas the Germans may have had to leave them behind after destroying them. Also, German equipment was so finely engineered that they were too complex to repair in the field. Or it may simply be a propaganda ploy so it would keep up the belief that their Tiger tanks were indestructable. So, do you mean how many Tigers were destroyed in combat?

When the Axis Forces destroyed a US or Allied tank, the US replaced it with 10 more. The Axis Forces ran out of men and equipment. When WW2 ended in 1945; the US had so many BRAND NEW warplanes, tanks, etc. they went directly to the smelter (recycling plants). The US Navy dumped tons of airplanes over the side (over board) to make room for returning US Fighting Men (Operation Magic Carpet). The "Arsenal of Democracy" (the United States) defeated the Axis Powers by OUT PRODUCING THEM!

Hitler made terrible decisions.The Allied Forces were able to "make it hard for the enemy to wage war" by bombing gas production, railways, dams, military installations, cities and bombed Luftwaffe airplanes and airfields.The Allied Forces had outnumbered the Nazi forces and had a lot more war implements and fuel.The Allied Forces could do an adequate job of keeping their troops fed and armed. The Nazis were suffering from lack of food, medicine, fuel and ammunition. They had lost a lot of tanks and airplanes.The Allied Forces nearly did not defeat the U Boats. They did defeat them in the end by using superior technology and cracking the German code.While the German Nazis were exceptionally good warriors and determined the Allied Forces were just as good and more determined with ability to carry out their determination to liberate all of Europe and they had the Red Army on their side. The Red Army was a million strong while the Wehrmacht (German Army) was down to thousands not millions.Adolph Hitler was a target for assassins for many years. He finally killed himself and that helped to motivate the German officers to surrender.

Here are some of the reasons I can remember signaled the end of the war once the Allied Forces and the Axis Forces fought the Battle of the Bulge.The German launched a gigantic offensive on January 1, 1945 about halfway through the Battle of the Bulge days. They lost 100,000 men that day and depleted many of their tanks and other fighting equipment.The Allied Forces sustained heavy casualties too but they were able to replace their troops, equipment, supplies and treat their wounded people whereas the Germans were not able to resupply, replace tanks or people.Bad decisions were made by Adolf Hitler who was micromanaging the war and the Nazi Generals were not able to make their own decisions regarding strategy or control the supplies. They had their hands tied during the Battle of the Bulge and the rest of the war.The Allied Forces were able to repel the German Nazis back into their own front and hence the Allied invasion of the Third Reich was able to be commenced.The weather was another factor. Did both axis and the allies have tanks in world war 1?
Yes. There were tanks on both sides. The German tank was renowned for it's 'speed' of 12kph but light armor. Thin enough for 30cal fire to shred anyone inside.. The German tanks in WW1 were not a success. The allied forces had the opposite effect. The british tanks ruled the battlefields of 1916.. Heavily armoured (or I could say excessively as it was 27tons and moved at 3kph) and well armed for it's time. However, a direct hit from artillery would knock the tank out.. It took another world war till tanks could survive a single direct artillery strike..

It got Allied Armies back in Europe. Within a month,the Allied forces had over a million soldiers and 600 tanks challenging the Wehrmacht. This was an incredible achievement and changed the course of WW2.
