The Republic of Ireland has 11 MEPs. Northern Ireland has 3 MEPs.
They represent Ireland in the European parliament.
Italy has 73 MEPs.
Wales itself has four MEPs- currently there is one from the Labour Party, one Conservative, one Plaid Cymru and one from the United Kingdom Independence Party (although the latter is likely to lose his seat at the next European Election). There may be MEPs from wales who represent English constituencies, but I regret I don't know how many of these (if any) there are.
Sweden has 20 MEPs.
Estonia has 6 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) representing the country in the European Parliament.
Irish MEPs are elected by the people, not chosen by the Taoiseach.
