You can play as characters from multiple final fantasy games (though not all) in games such as final fantasy dissidia 012: duodecim.
Tetsuya Nomura has worked on/drawn the characters for Final Fantasy (and Kingdom Hearts, as well as many other games).
No, characters from the different 'main' Final Fantasy games are not related to the ones in others. They are totally different worlds and universes.
Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX.
Kefka and Ultimecia are two separate villains from two separate games Kefka is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VI and Ultimecia is the main antagonist in Final Fantasy VIII.
According to various sources, Final Fantasy 7 as a game certainly stands the test of time with its engaging plot and characters.
No, All final fantasy games are different. if you pick up final fantasy 7 and then get final fantasy 8, there's going to be a change in: characters, time zones, worlds, etc. the only real thing that's the same is the magic system. spells like fira, firaga, thundara, etc. are found throughout all the games. If you're new to final fantasy, i suggest you play final fantasy 7. it is the top rated ff in the world!Final Fantasy 7 has a storyline followed through by several games, on multiple platforms.Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-II are the only games in the series to be direct sequels; the 7Compilation is more of a focus shift.
Actually, there is a movie about Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. I saw it but I forgot if I saw it on the Internet. The stars are Cloud,Tifa, Denzel and many more. There is also Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within that came out before Advent Children. It doesn't have any of the characters from the games but is does have a slight relation to Final Fantasy 7.

Final Fantasy X-7? no. there is Final Fantasy 10-2 which is the sequel to Final Fantasy 10 (and is the only actual sequel in all of the final fantasy games) and there is Final Fantasy 7, but there is no Final Fantasy x-7. the games may be made by the same people but do not relate to each other in anyway other then the fact they are Final Fantasy.
In Final fantasy IX you can set the controllers to respective characters who will then be playable by that controller in the battle screen. Controller 1 however wil always control the main character on the world map / area map. This feature also appeared in several re-issues of old Final Fantasy games for the Play Station - i.e Final Fantasy VI
There is no such game. You have confused two very separate and distinct games and series: Sonic X and Final Fantasy X.Actually there IS a final fantasy sonic x up to 6 episodes, so that took care of the problem. It is not too much like final fantasy. You meet other characters from sega and nintendo.
