No. The Medal of Honor is awarded to members of the U.S. Military whose actions are above and beyond the standard call of duty. King never served in any branch of the military (he was too young for WWII, and was enrolled in seminary at the start of the Korean War).
He received a number of awards, including the New York City Medal of Honor and the Congressional Gold Medal. The Medal of Honor (often erroneously called the Congressional Medal of Honor) that we award to soldiers who display incredible valor during battle (often at the cost of their own life) is absolutely NOT anything that was awarded to Dr. King, nor was he even eligible for it, having never served in the military, let alone combat. The unfortunate similarity of medal designations has caused much confusion in the past and probably isn't going to stop anytime soon, since most people know virtually nothing about military medals.
The cast of The Medal of Honor - 1913 includes: Shorty Everett Ray Gallagher as Fire Dept. Lt. Seth Bonner Henry King as Fire Dept. Capt. Dick Wright Velma Whitman as Grace Rider
