Two, one on the passenger side exhaust manifold end facing up and one on the driver side exhaust manifold end facing back. They look like all metal spark plugs with 3 jacketed wires attached to their heads. The wrench size for removal (after disconnecting their plugs) is 7/8". Hope this is of assistance.

On my 2000 Town Car, there are four sensors...one on each exhaust manifold before the catalytic converters and then two immediately behind the catalytic converters. The sensors are not difficult to reach, but the connectors they plug into are very hard to get to for the two front sensors.

Go to autozone.com type in oxygen sensor and it will allow you to pull up a diagram of all o2 sensors
