The apportionment listed below of the 435 seats of the U.S. House of Representatives was calculated in 2011 based on the results of the 2010 U.S. Census in order to keep each state's share of representation reasonably proportional to its share of the total population of the states, as required by the U.S. Constitution, and they are applicable from 3 January 2013 until 3 January 2023:

  • 53 : CA
  • 36 : TX
  • 27 each : FL & NY
  • 18 each : IL & PA
  • 16 : OH
  • 14 each : GA & MI

  • 3 each : NE, NM & WV
