I would only keep one Tokay per tank, especially a male. They can be highly territorial.
no it cannot die in a 20 gallon tank because i have 3 baby lepord geckos in 10 gallon tank
leopard geckos would love it in a 20 gallon tank, i have had a few and they get about 12 inches or so long and a 20-30 gallon tank is perfect for them
if they are babies... if they are adults they need a 20 gallon tank. you will need to give them more height then floor space
Depending on the species of the gecko will determine if the gecko would require a larger tank or not. A small gecko species would do fine in a 10 gallon tank but larger species such as Tokay geckos or Leachianus gecko would require a larger terrarium. Also, depending on the specie of gecko will determine if the tank should be of horizontal orient or vertical. A ground welling specie will enjoy a horizontal layout, while an arboreal specie would prefer the vertical.
Yes. But I only recommend placing 3 in the cage.
Please answer!!!
You need a 20 gallon (long). It is about 3ft long & 1ft deep.
Some popular reptiles that may fit in a 10 gallon terrarium are Leopard Geckos, Anoles, Crested Geckos, Ball Pythons, Corn Snakes, Red Eared Sliders, and Southern Painted Turtles.
A reptile cannot be housed with a species of a different environment. There would be too many different living conditions to sustain two or more different species. Example: Humidity, temperature, substrates diet etc... Animals of the same regions can (with exceptions: size of tank, enough food to sustain multiple diets, multiple hiding spots etc..) be housed together. Even in the case of two species being together, they must be monitored, and should only be done by intermediate - expert reptile keepers In this case the leopard coming from arid deserts of Afghanistan will not be able to co-exist with the high levels of humidity a Tokay gecko would require.
Depends which tank.
Well first off you should only have two females or one male and one female (two females are the best combination), two males will fight and often kill eachother. Two leopard geckos can live in a 10 gal. tank, but it is highly not recomended. You should go for 15 or 20 gal. (or bigger) but remember... when it comes to something like this bigger is always better!
it gets 26 miles to a gallon tank
