The youngest players to be competing for the final prize in WSOP is John Dolan.
She hasn't won a WSOP bracelet. Her best WSOP finish was in 2008 when she was the last woman standing in the Championship Event, placing 17th out of 6,844 players - and coming 8 players away from the Main Event final table. Statistically it was the best finish a female has ever had at the WSOP, and it was the largest field a female had ever beaten in live tournament history (at that time).

The first World Series of Poker (WSOP) was organised in 1970.
When a player cashes in the WSOP, a floorman directs them to a person waiting at a computer who confirms your payout amount. They print out a receipt which you take to the cashier. At the cashier, they provide several options for pay. At the WSOP, you can accept cash, check, or (I believe) bank wire transfer.

The WSOP began in Texas in 1969, it was an invitational hosted by Tom Moore of San Antonio, Texas. This very first event was won by Crandell Addington. The set of tournaments that would eventually evolve into the WSOP was the brainchild of Benny Binion. In 1970, the first WSOP took place in Las Vegas. The format was a freeze out and the winner was elected by his peers, by secret ballot, that was Johnny Moss. The Main Event of the WSOP has been the $10,000 buy-in no-limit Texas Hold 'Em tournament since 1972, that event was won by "Amarillo Slim" Preston.
