WIT stands for Wiki Influential Teens.
Check out the WIT page there you will see there are different types of WIT and they all do different missions.
The WIT Program is the Wiki Answers Influential Teen, they help make other contributors/members feel welcomed to the site. In addition to that the Wiki influential teens has a job to complete within the site, and its to make it better, safer, and more fun for others to enjoy.
The WIT Program began in August 2008, and is still going strong with 200-300 members!
For Prizes in Wiki Influential teens you will need to speak with the Coordinator. But you won't really receive anything until you check out the WIT page.
Wiki Influential TeensNo. WIT is open to teens between the ages of 13-18 who have at least 50 quality contributions on WikiAnswers.

No WikiAnswers is a very free community. Wiki Answers i think is with Affilation of WIKIPEDIA as its a free contrib. It just the community looks at you better
If you continue to participate in WIT once you have passed the age of 18, your WIT badge will not be removed. Your badge is only removed if you stop participating in the program.

Wiki Influential Teens, "WIT Warrior". This WIT Division will consist of members who wish to focus on new categories or unsupervised categories. Tasks will include seeding new questions, recategorizing questions, and cleaning up unsupervised categories.
