Not many a few pigs, some goats, and cows. They were primarily growing wheat. I go to the mission all the time. It is in a valley of oaks and feels very much like it did in the 1700’s. The first marriage in Alta California was performed at the mission. Today construction is going on to retrofit the mission for earthquakes. Services, events, and retreats are held today at the mission.
