Are greehouse gasses good or bad?

Yes and no. We need greenhouse gases in our atmosphere to keep the earth warm enough for human life. So the right level of greenhouse gas is good. Too much greenhouse gases are bad for us. Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and fluoridated gases are the gases which trap sunlight and heat from the surface of the earth and so they are used by the greenhouse effect to heat the atmosphere. This leads to overheating in the atmosphere which in turn leads to global warming.
