As of 2013, there are over twenty-five rivers that flow in the country Pakistan. Some of the names of the rivers are Kech River, Dasht River, and the Hub River.
Not too many Pakistani leaders flourished Pakistan. still, a few names are mention-able here. Firstly, General Ayub Khan really contributed well. During his reign Most of the Barrages, and Dams were built. After Ayub, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto contributed a lot for our nation. He is responsible for making Pakistan a Nuclear Sate. During the Reign of General Pervaiz Mushraff country's economy flourished a lot.
Pakistan has many rivers. Most of these rivers originate from Kashmir and Great Range of Hamaliya. Indus River, also called locally as River Sindh is the largest river. Other prominent rivers are Jhelum, Satluj, Biaas, Ravi, Chanab, Kunhar, Sawat, Kabul etc.

Riverine forests are always located on banks of rivers . As there are many rivers in Pakistan specially in Punjab , hence such forests are present but decreasing as amount of water is decreasing in rivers which is out come of Indus Water treaty .
